do you not have a safety officer gav,get into his ribs,i did over eye safety and we were issued with better eye protection.ie,helmet with the safety pull down visor.

we do have a safety officer and a strong union but they are like wet blankets at times!

all the management want is production! same as every firm i think!!

trouble is, grandad did it that way so thats how you'll bloody well do it!!

so long as its brought to the attention of them then its in thier hands to sort it. anything happens after that its a one way street as far as hse are concerned!!!
