Well I'm sick of looking for an outrack and when one does come up its either hundreds of miles away or I get outbid at the last second.

Does anyone have any scale drawings for these so I can get one made up??

Cheers

CHRIS

To clarify...... Safety devices outrack..... It's the full length roof rack for a 5 door Freelander 1. Best looking roofrack for a freelander in my opinion. Google freelander outrack and you will see one.

Last 2 I've seen on eBay I've missed by a couple of quid but ive been after one for years!!!!

SES88.......... Sure you could make make them with your expertise... It's the way they sit so close to the roof and follow the contours I like

Two months ago I sell one set in identical condition like mine. Goes to Netherlands for 1400 GBP . Offer was shown just about half an hour.
But that was the last one that i found in U.S. Maybe some will show up on U.S ebay, check it regular.

Yeah they're lovely!

Problem is they need to be jigged up, and the time and money involved for making one would be ridiculous unless SD want to sell me their jigs lol

Happen think about sharing the love with Accy and Roy with what you're saving in advertising... Name in red or even orange appn? ... ;)

Only a suggestion like though.

Only realised about donating to the site the other day when someone mentioned it in another thread I was browsing through, I shall look into it :D

I missed a slightly rusty one a few months ago....... By the time he had sent me the pics and I had got back to him it had sold....... £375!!!!!! Someone got a bargain!!

Rare item, big cash ;)

They don't like to share any items from their archives. I try for months encourage them to reproduce their front A-bar for me. I offer cash for finished product, for drawings, but they don't want to do anything :(

Back to the topic.
I got one, i can measure them , make a photos. But i don't use CAD and any other software for design. so if somebody is able to convert my measures to CAD project or other thing needed for machines it can be done.
Simons Ladder's are done from my ladder pics and measurements - so it's possible

Got a friend with one but he is up in Cumbria....... Thinking of driving up with a load of copper pipe and a tape measure........ Make up a full size copy in copper, in sections then try to fabricate properly in steel when I get home

Ladders were easy, I guessed half of it, the roof racks are a whole different kettle of fish, especially ones that follow the contours of the roof
