I need to store my poor old D2 at a local farm for winter.

As you may know she's not well and I won't have the weather to work on her until Spring.

She's not out in the middle of a field but I think she needs some protection from the elements.

Can any of you helpful people recommend a suitable cover?

Try googling "caravan covers" and check them out.

Some of them will supply car covers which breathe and help to keep dampness out.
Had one on my Caravan for years and found it great for the winter.

Halfords do a large cover for four by fours. Pic on front of packaging shows it on a disco3. No idea wat the price was tho

Try and park it on hardstanding rather than over grass/mud etc - your chassis will thank you for it

leave two of these in the cabin over winter, worth every penny of it DRY AIR CAR/HOME DEHUMIDIFIER BAG MOISTURE ABSORBER/DAMP EATER: Amazon.co.uk: Car & Motorbike / ...or google out "car moiture absorber" and choose something similar which look better for you

Thanks for all the advice - I reckon Halfords and Amazon will be getting my money soon
In fact I reckon the dehumidifier will be great for the other car through the winter - those pesky passengers do so like to breathe!

Before I do rush to Halfords are there any heart felt opinions on the 'cover my car' covers?
(There are many sites on the web advertising what seems like the same product - they all have a 'Stormproof' range)
Are they worth it? Are they any better than the Halfords one?
