nothing wrong with brazing ,i used to do a fair bit ,i have oxy/acet bottles and kit but havent done gas welding for years,migs much quicker

And neither is Doc. But he has just started and trying,got to give him credit for trying

soldering is under 600F and over is brazing. Gas welding is melting base material and or adding filler rod
