Is there Any possibility to just deactivate the ace system without messing with the Safety of the car? I was just about to sell the d2 and now the problem shows up. I looked to order the sensor but that is 150£ without sending and I live in Belgium so that may take a long time or cost to get here.
Hi Reggaerover, If its any consolation I had my ACE system deleted, its not a big job as it only entails removing the pump, replaced with a auxiliary wheel and obviously a slightly different size belt and plugging the short pipe from the reservoir. I honestly cant feel any difference whilst driving around bends or cornering etc. Its a work horse for me, I pull a heavy trailer also don't throw it around or do any sort of off-roading etc. I also drive it in deep snow and icy roads around the alps in winter. If it was 15 year younger i would consider renewing the pipes/valve block/arms/pump etc but at 25 its a system and a headache i can happily do without.
Hope it helps.

I;ve forgotten what you got from your diagnostics but fitting the transducer seems to be a good bet.
I just replaced mine after advice on here, just not this exact thread.
It is a bit of a sod to replace. Ideally you need a half-deep 27mm socket.
Make sure the area around it is scrupulously clean.
You'll lose very little fluid, no need to panic and try to fit the new one in too much of a hurry.
Nor will you need to bleed it, just drive it around a bit.
The light went out as soon as I did mine.
and I pay homage to @sierrafery as he really is the boss when it comes to all this stuff.
