As per the title, the OSR window failed halfway up at the weekend. There were a few weird noises just before failure - no grating, humming more like something I’d imagine if the wire has snapped and the motor is pulling it along. I’ve managed to get it all the way up and stay there. Between failing and pulling it back up I tried the switches (drivers door and OSR door) and could hear the click of a relay but couldn’t hear the motor. Looking at the cost of a new regulator from £30 odd off eBay to £90 from AF to £250 odd for a LR one from Rimmer, has anyone got any recommendations. I’m not going to try to repair it, a replacement regulator is what I’m going for.
