Spent most of last night fighting to get the starter off my 300tdi.
Got it unbolted but it seems impossible to get the thing out. Seems like there just isn't enough space. Turbo and engine mount getting in the way.
Feels like I need to take the exhaust manifold off but that seems a nutty thing to have to do.
Am I missing something obvious as it feels like its almost out but there just isn't enough space.
Was a N/A diesel converted to 300 tdi out a disco by the previous owner.
