I am very excited to be on route to collect my first Defender. I am collecting my 2005 TD5 110 CSW. I left Aberdeen on a 0640 flight this morning and am now on a train to collect it, cannot wait! I have already purchased loads of bolt on bits and pieces and am looking forward to making it my own.

I will post some pics when I have it and after the 7 hour drive home.

Excellent idea.

It could be like the Operation Black Buck - the epic V-bomber mission to the Falklands in 1982 - brim his tanks along the way, feed him spare parts as they fall off and maybe.....just maybe.... he'll make it back to Scotland trailing a massive black vapour trail and running on one cylinder
