any help would realy be apreasheated

Shouldn't be too bad apart from stripping the usual parts off to gain access. Download a copy of Rave from off the forum (Look for the link) for the procedure. It will take a couple of hours (Including Tea & smoke breaks) plus about £4 for the seal.

it looks like i dont need to strip the hole hub down it looks like i just need to undo the brake calipper and the 6 or 8 bolts that told the hun to the axel casing and draw the hun and drive shaft out in one what do u think.

sounds good to me. Be sure to give the new seal a good smear of grease/gear oil before you slide the halfshaft back in

hi m8 i am going to give it a go this week. sorry for the mistake should have said hub and not hun. do i need to use any special gear oil or will a good quality oil be ok.
thanks tony

did the oil seal this morning easy peasy
jack up the car
remove the wheel
remove the brake calipre
undo the 8 bults that hold the hub to the casing
and the hole hub and drive shaft slide out to reveal the oil seal.

You were lucky, usually the hub is rusted solid to the swivel and brute force and a loads of cussing is the order of the day. Pays to polish the bore of the swivel and give the spigot and mating face of the hub a good coat of copper grease.
