Hi all can anyone give me some pointers on fitting a rear crankshaft oil seal please, I've had one attempt and don't want to %&*$ it up again !
Thanks.

Put a piece of tape or similar around the crankshaft to ease the seal over and use plenty
of oil on all faces. Keeping it square as it goes in is paramount, so if you haven't a suitable
follower, just use a CLEAN faced hammer to tap it in ensuring you work around it evenly
and obviously don't strike the crankshaft.
Are you changing the crucifix seals at the same time?

its better if flywheel housing is removed ,and use a suitable dolly to knock new seal in square ,check crank boss and clean up if grooved move seal so it sits slightly further back and so not in groove ,if you get genuine seal it should come with guide to help fit over crank boss err2532g google it and youll see ,you will also need new gasket for flywheel housing err1440
