Investigating a no oil light on problem,I have found the switch is ****ed.i have liberated a new one from work.on it shows 0.3-0.5 bar working value,Haynes book says oil pressure is between 25.0-55.0 psi.i have screwed the new switch in and connected the wire to it and we now have a light.will this switch be ok to use.

One bar is approximately 14psi
So 0.5 bar = 7psi

No, I think was the word that I was searching for

proper one fitted,light is on when needed and out when not.
