i have oil in my ecu and am going to try cleaning it my self. i have been told not to use wd40 and use electrical cleaner instead i was just wondering if this is ok to use

Yup, that's ok.

you also need to change the injector harness, as it's that it tracks down to the ecu

that cleaner is good to have it but you will waste it if you dont replace the injector loom first cos it will last only for few days...then it will get worst

i will be replacing the loom but i have an engine management light on and car will start but no response from accelerator. i want to make sure that i can get it to work first

Classic throttle position sensor failure(or related contact /wiring issue)... but the sensor itself used to fail too and replacement is the only cure

"If the TP sensor fails, the engine will only run at idle and the MIL will remain on until the fault is eliminated. Turning the ignition off/on can reset the MIL provided that the fault has been rectified."(RAVE)

will try that. where about is it located. is it easy to replace

also the car will allow me to drive but at very slow speed
