Can anybody throw any light on oil in air filter on 1989 2.5 Turbo diesel?

its from the engine, it breaths through a fillter and into the air box to be re burnt,
mind you you didnt say how much oil

Thanks for that. Just putting in new footwell and door pillar (usual rot) just changing air filter when access is easy! Not dripping oil air filter black not sure when last changed inside of housing quite black as well
