I have a p reg desiel disco. I have had it for 3 years. I recently notice some greenish oil on the wheel. I took the wheel off today to find the rubber cap full of greenish oil. It appears that the oil has come out of the hole in the center of the axel the swivels are filled with black one shoot land rover grease. Is it possible for this to be the oil from the axel.

Any ideas solutions

quite possible eventhough there are seals oil from diff often comes through to wheel hub

+ 1 for the above. I have seen this loads of times whilst being a machanic in the forces. Spent half my life fixing wolfs.
