If you mean the oil feed pipe, just remove it with grips, you may knacker it, but they are available.Agreed, but the vertical pipe just above the turbo in the picture won't come off, and it's atatched lower in the engine.... The sheared bolts r from the bottom of the turbo housing not the head
Yes, exactly what I thought.Ok will get grips on it... There's another much larger diameter pipe comin from the underside of the same unit that I can't budge either....
The damage so far...

Yes! No idea why he didn't remove it on the head, as I suggested originally!Better keep some sheep the amount of sheering you are doing.Best thing now may be to take whole manifold/turbo assembly to an engineering place and get them to sort it.
Bit far for me, maybe another member will pick up.Hahaha.... cheers. I'm in Tewkesbury.
Have taken apart elbow as advised but since I couldn't get the oil pipes off I decided to try other things.... you live and learn![]()
Good! Will be back home shortly and will have another attempt. ... just giving myself half anil hour to clear my head before I go back and pick up all my tools from around the garden
You will need to remove it, one way or another, and then get a whole new pipe for re-assembly. Better grips may shift, or cut the pipe away from the turbo, and slide a smaller spanner down the pipe and tap it on the fitting. Hard to say without seeing it, and what tools you have.Ok after another 30 mins of trying, that top nut screw whatever it is wont loosen, tried mole grips tapping on a spanner that's a fraction smaller, it seems like it's made of lead, as soon as any real pressure is put on it it just distorts.
Do I hacksaw the top of the nut off or do I cut the pipe and look to get some kind of union joint for it on reassembly?
Pikey is closest of any use.Yes! No idea why he didn't remove it on the head, as I suggested originally!
Also, OP, where are you? If you post a location someone mechanically competent might round and help you! I will even do so myself if you are in Kernow!![]()
Pleased to hear that. It's off now...
Placed carefully on the bench in the shed until Friday... Gonna sit down and enjoy a brew.. Appreciate all your help so far guys, got a feeling this is just the start of it tho...
Doubt if he is going to want to do it on his buffday!Pikey is closest of any use.
