Alright guys I'm in need of some help!
My exhaust/turbo joint slightly touches my bulkhead. Do you think I can fix this through shims to shift the bulkhead or is this going to require major surgery?

You could make a tubular exhaust manifold and move the turbo forward slightly if not the usual way would be to chop the bulkhead or move engine forward a little

try a lump of checker plate shim somewhere on your engine mount just the one side..

but then I know nuffin about series..

Cheers, I don't have a clue how to fabricate that, what's the best way to learn and what tools would I need? Do you know of anyone that will fabricate one from stainless steel?

If I shim the engine on one side will I need to do the gear box too? Will tilting the engine effect it?

is that in a sixpot chassis ??

if so you need to google "tdi in sixpot chassis" as this has been discussed and resolved a few times

Adjust the bulk head with a Hammer.

Ok......so maybe its only me that would do that.

not so daft as it sounds..
If the lad was clever, by carefully cutting a section out to clear the turbo,
you might be able to turn it inside out and replace it, if its ally, some pop rivets, if its steel, mig it....

or bash feck outer it in true banger style...
