i got mine for less than thirty quid from paddocks. i'm normally a big fan of salvage bits but i figured for that price you can't go wrong.

i had the same problem in jan , a new ACR 45a alternator was £35 ser exchange at me local parts supplier ! ask around, some one will have one,

ther easy enough to swap aswell

landy bird i have an alternator but the cost to you fetching it or me posting it, would be defeating the object of getting a cheap replacement, and for what paddocks are charging i would think of go to them, other option you have is fit new brushes but getting new brushes could turn out hard to come by, if you are rearly thick skinned i have a saying about if its got wheels, but as im to polite in front of females i tend to turn away from saying it, dont like upsetting the opposite sex. pmsl
