i have a strange noise kind sounds like shhhhhhh when accelerating or going up hill and it seems to be down on power and just wont pull i think its the clutch becuase its smells like its burning so it thought it could be slipping but i dont have any problems getting the gears

oh and its a 200tdi 90

do revs seem to increase as you slow down
