Evening. I'am in the process of changing
The blend motors and I've disturbed the
O rings so they gotta be changed.The question
is do I have drain the system to do this
(my thought is I do) but thought I'll ask
Just to make sure.

Don't think you need to. If you disconnect the pipes to the heater under the bonnet and clamp them (or just raise the ends up) it'll be fine. You will need to bleed the cooling system when finished though and you will need to drain the heater matrix from inside the car as you do the rings.
