bought new lock nuts and key but cant take of the old ones as it didnt come with one when i bought disco 1 1998.like a knob head i thought they were the same. has anyone got one i can borrow or buy. the lock nut has two half circle grooves 10/15mm apart. just want to take old ones of and put on new ones incase i get puncture. thanks.

As ratty, but... if we are talking gen locking wheel nuts you are a NH because the lock nuts are coded from A to J so thats 10 different combos to try.

Buy the extractor thats advertised which will help you remove the redundant bit from your wheels.

Sorry but "ratty's law" is you will get a puncture so do it soon ok

find a socket that is a little bit smaller than the locking nut and hammer it on to it

yep hammer a socket on. Make sure it's a multipoint socket 6 sided ones don't work!!
