mi dad got a wheel brace turned down on his mates lathe so it fits in his cordless drill for winding down his caravan steadies...

saves him loads of time..

gonna have a go at this with the 2 old 1/2" extension bars ive got 1 for the drill and the other for a crank handle ive got kicking about

im also the kind of twot that will weld an old drill bit to a coach bolt for long reach or deep drilling

the things ye think of when yer in a fix :smokin::smokin::smokin:

I got mine off a mate for free last week just need a battery 70 notes tho but cant moan for a snap-on gun

haha that would make sense :doh:

sorry didn't explain that one too well, he meant it was easier to ensure you don't over tighten them with a bar than with a gun.

with experience you can tell by the sound then finish with a bar ,the beauty of a gun is that it doesnt use torque

Not many - but - i have 2 sets of wheels for the disco - 1 for off-roading - 1 for road usage - so - I swap them around quite a lot.

The Series just has issues all the time so the wheels come on and off regularly!

Good suggestion. I recently bough a 1m breaker bar with a 3/4in socket on the end. I only bought it to undo stubborn wheels nuts. Was dead easy with the breaker bar.

I think I only paid £38 and it came witha bree 1/2in 400 breaker bar too

i run 3 ct6850 18v snap on guns in my tyrebay and wouldnt use anything else they are so quick,powerfull & reliable and recharge fast,got as much if not more power than my snap on air mg725,i viewed and tested the ct7850 today and just when you thought it couldnt get any better... it has. looking at getting 1 next week as its a whopping £500 + vat.
