We are new to this forum, we are Surrey Search and Rescue (www.sursar.org.uk) - a Lowland search capability offering foot and K9 resource to the Police and other emergency services. We are a 24/7 365 Days of the year service run and managed by volunteers.
We gained Charity status in 2011 and been trying to raise funds to have our own vehicle to run searches from - we call it a Control Vehicle.
We recently had the opportunity to purchase N**USH from Border SAR in Kelso so a couple of our members went up the Berwick on Tweed this weekend and drove her back to Surrey - 8hrs not bad cruising speed around 70 on off road tyres mmmm nice.!!
A few members have Landys and so we will be calling upon their knowledge of this workhorse as well as this forum's.
