Pretty certain you couldn't fit one to a non facelift and TBH if I hadn't drilled the front bumper to fit wouldn't bother fitting a new one. Got the black one for £30 brand new from eBay - looks good for now.

i can find 2004 onwards for very little money but i cant seem to find the ones that were fitted to earlier models

by the way im on about the plastic/pre painted not the chrome type

When I bought my nudge bar it was for my model (2000) but the instructions wer for the facelift model I think it would be the same bar just different fittings that bolt to the bumper reinforcer I'll try and find the thread for my nudge bar now
