I was trying to work out why the heater fan will only work on its fastest setting and I found this. Anyone know what it is and does, is it fan related and is it the reason why it'll only work on full bore?





It's a 1999 Nissan Almera.

It could well be a resistor. Does the blade like thing sit in the path of the air in the fan assembly?

yup - i fink it is altima in the states - or summat - but if yu do a search - remember that Mondeo? a SEARCH! - it comes up wiv quite a few freds - Grunt can always ask a q on there. and i posted the link to the AOC for all yu uvvas wiv Almeras

It sits just behind the fan.

Daren't go on a proper Nissan site 'cos they'll all be saddo's an laff at me 'cos it's so old and hasn't got go faster stripes on!
