Hi, Just bought a series 2a 21/4 and i am looking for a few hints and tips!The strenghtening web on the rear axel is rustyand full of holes, Is there a replacement i could use which will give also give a better diff ratio for top end ?

i would imagine both difs will need to match if you change one

Cheers, I am looking to replace both axels but i am not sure of the dimentions or compatability of other landy/range rover units?

is yours leaf sprung? because the rangie ones will most likely be coil

I almost owned a 2a once but ending up getting a series 3 instead. I like the windscreen wipers on 2a's they make me laugh!

Ah, dear god, a proper Land Rover at last
:welcome2::welcome2: I'm not sure about the 2A, but you may be able to swop the diffs, and keep the original axles. Ask in the Series section, and try a search first. Photo's are also mandatory
