just been out to start the range rover p38 4.0 se reconnected battery opened door put key in but nowt no dash lights. could this be a sign of a resync needed. any help many thanks

no did this befor to me if i was to sit and wait long enough the light light up and she will start. takeing the battery off at the week end to full charge then try again

Even a pretty flat battery would give you some lights on the dash. Might be worth checking the power lead into the main fuse box. On one of mine the bolt that the lead attaches to had worked loose on the fuse box circuit board. Symptoms are the same as no battery. If you give the power lead a wiggle I guess you know the answer fairly quickly.

Fully charged battery, same fault all lights wipers work and windows just no dash lights when i turn the key so no start any help please

I think it is time to plug in some form of FCR and see whats going on....

I trust you have checked fueses and pushed and wiggled relays...

Have you tried the EKA code, or re-synched the key fobs..??

Yes given it all a prod and wiggle but nothing. Any one close that can plug in and take a look. how do you rescyn the keys again so i am sure

Take the ignition relay out and see if there is power in any of the terminals, there should be power in 2 of them, hope you sort it mate

Had power to terminals, checked maxi fuses all ok . give the key a wiggle and all lights come on and started. possible my ign barrel on way out
