noticed had a vibration started getting worse then a grinding noise then a clattering noise still moves just . recoverd back on AA but now need a diff please help :doh:

jack up front and turn a front wheel,see if the other front one goes round or not,if it does see if someone can try and stop it or notice anything unusual.

takes around three hours providing all the bolts come out how there supposed to and the hubs aint corroded on, not a bad job.

I've got a spare axle with a good diff in it, just need to swap the hubs over.

Just looked at your garage, the axle wont fit that one it's defender.
