Its a personal preference - spots look more Landy - but thats just my opinion. I think you can get that 6x with the wiring kit for an extra tenner on fleabay. Plus, on the photo of the lightbar on the front of the "Sheriff" car - it looks quite small.

I must admit i do prefer the look of the spots, but willing to go with whats best, the actual lenght of the Light bar is 41.5 inches so a fare size, i think the picture is a generic one as they do all different sizes

I picked up a bar with 6 light on at Newbury sapres day for £30 - its very similar to the second one you've posted above.....might be worth seeing whats there (assuming everyone who owns a landy goes that is :))

Fookin hell, maybe Im tight but 100 quid for a bar and 6 lights, that will get damaged down the first tight lane you go down!
Some of the lanes around my way are now so tight that when you are in them you cant even open the doors

Might have to look into some sort of MadMax steel mesh creation to protect whatever I fit then

If they're fitted right they'll be OK, whatever .. I haven't broken one of my lights yet and I go down some horrendous tree-lined lanes .. ;)

Doesn't matter what you have in the centre, LED or spots, but on the outside I use spots angled out and down so you can see turns left and right. When it's pitch black and you're out in the sticks, you really don't need to see far in front, but you DO need to see left and right from within a foot to maybe 20 foot away .. especially if there's a ditch or drop off!

LED's are superior in every way - less power draw, brighter (if you get good ones) and are usually a bit more weather resistant - often sealed units - LED's last a long time.

Spot lights are getting much cheaper now as a result so you can grab some at a good price if you're not bothered

As much as I like the look of spots - I'd get an LED light bar, as I think they look better!
Plus as above - will last forever. Expensive though! Which is why I've not got a set yet... I just hold a candle out the window.

What Paul says - thats what Im putting on when I can afford and the Mrs has got over the new tyres cost...:D

I think i'm leaning towards the LED's i would probable need to make a fixing bar for it that would then allow me to add a spot to each side if needed
