Hello there,
I went to start my 51plate freelandertd4 this morning and all i got was a ticking noise? which i thought was the starter moter!, after a few attemps of hitting the starter moter, no joy

Then after about 5 mins or so, all the dash lights went out and there was nothing at all, dont think its the battery so what else could it be!

Just for a bit of difference, buy a new battery it sounds like its bugger'd, and (new style sealed) dont tend to charge up again once they've gone. But trying to charge it is cheaper.

What battery should i be using? are there any good recommendations?

Bosch silver, not cheap but excellent.
