hi ive a 2003 range rover vogue and having problems with the illumination of the switches and cluster. When I switch lights on the cluster lights up but very dim and the back lights of the switches don't. The radio and lcd screen dims when I use the dimmer at side of light switch. Ive checked all fuses and seems OK. Pulling hair out now can anyone shine a light ??

If they are not turned down with the dimmer control, it may be a bad connection. However, nothing is simple on these cars, it may be an ECU problem. Diagnostics may be needed.

Had it checked on diagnosis tool said it was an open circuit on the switch. Replaced with new switch same problem.

So a broken wire, bad earth, or corroded connectors.

I will have to check. I brought a new switch but it was the same really annoying now.
