hi, i,ve got a 2002 110 with a td5alive chip which has caused no problems in the past 12 months i,ve had it.recently it seems to be drinking a lot of diesel and seems to have lost its power.today the engine management light came on every now and then with no obvious change to the engine performance.
any ideas ?

if the light stops on a fault code will be registered in the ecm, you will have to plug in in to a computer to analyze the fault code,it could be something simple.

thanks for the reply but the light only came on now and then,it flickered for a while and went out.I,ve been out in it a couple of times tonight to try it but the light has,nt come on again.Do you still think it would have logged a fault in the ecm ?
