Diagnoses please fellas. Gas is cutting out with a dull thud but engine's working fine on unleaded. Any ideas?

What sort of system do you have single point or multiple point sequential ?

If it has a number of seperate hoses and injectors from the Vapouriser to each cylinder would be a Multi-point system....

A single point system uses a 'Gas Collar' in the air intake duct from the Mass Air Flow meter to the Plenum chamber ontop of the engine....

Thanks. I'll look later when I'm home. Are there many possible causes? Is it a safety cut off?
