Ive just refreshed a number of things on my 300tdi disco, including clutch and slave cylinder, clutch fork, push rod and the little plastic retainers.

Box all back in happy days, but i cannot get the clutch to bleed through, left the nipple very loose at the back and lid off the master at the top, fluid at the top of the bottle, left for a few hours and no change, currently sat to do overnight. got nothing in the clutch and lots of pumping did nothing.

other threads dont really give me the answer i need. its really frustrating me now!

any ideas?

Had this problem many times with 200 and 300 TDI. The last one ( after changing clutch, master and slave cylinders at customers request) couldn't get a clutch. Traced fault to ecentric pin that connects master cylinder yoke to clutch pedal. Turn pin until clutch pedal at highest setting and make sure pin is locked securely in this position so it doesn't turn when operating pedal. This gives more stroke on master cylinder piston. After yet another bleed all was well. Hope it works for you.

I use a wheel barrow wheel at ~18 psi so as not to over pressure the eezibleed-brilliant for brakes as well ,especially when your on your own.
