Hi I have just bought a freelander 2006 2 litre HSE ,there is some cds for navigation and a radio with a cd button but no where to load a cd not having a manual is the cd player meant to be above the radio if so the former owner must have removed it.regards Martin

usually on that year same as mine the cd player and radio is all in one also have a look under the front passenger seat am will be under the drivers seat

hi martin
its probably the same as mine is...td4 04 plate, if you press the button on the extreme right top of the radio...above the "ok" knob, a flap drops down and you can see the cd slot then, plays then ok.
if you are still stuck I can post a pic of the button.

Hi exactly as you said flap dropped down pressing ok button good job you told me as I was convinced it wasn't fitted feel a bit daft now thankyou anyway.

You'll also have a 6 CD changer under the seat

like I said but for got to tell you press that button and you should have the hk sub in your tool box in the boot.if for any reason your speakers do not work try cleaning up the connections as the wiring was done in china lr replace mine as only one was working
