Hi, I am about to change the front struts due to an airbag failing on the nearside front, after the bag failed the light on the height switch went off and the air suspension stopped working although the car is still up at the other three corners, What I wanted to ask is if the system should re-activate after I fit the new struts or will I need a tool to reset the system?
any advice is really appreciated

Thanks

David

It might if you disconnect battery and do the lock to lock thing, @Saint.V8 is one that might know he might just pop in after he puts the kids to bed.

If the lights went out, you will most likely need to reset the EAS ECU with diagnostics......sorry!

Once the battery is disconnected, you'll need to d othe lock to lock to reset the Steering Angle Sensor - but you may still need to plug it into diagnostics as it has gone into what is called 'Hard Fault'.
