Hello all, I am new to this forum and am making the jump from a Toyota Avensis to a potential buy on a Freelander (cant afford Disco or Defender), I know all the problems with 1.8 petrol i.e. HGF and VCU + various electrical issues. However I have the offer of a 2001 ES S/Wagon with 45k and FSH + modified multi-layered replacement head-gasket. My concern is with this good upgrade based on the fact that it has already suffered HGF is there anything else I should be concerned about?
