hi guys and girls
I have owned a Range Rover l322 for 3 years now and have spent alot of time loving my R ROVER have had a new compressor and have had both front air suspension bags replaced over time.
New to this so hope to find out more about my Range Rover in the forums
I have little bits to do on it like wing mirror folding which is playing up
Reversing sensors have started to play up
And also which I want to put in if anyone knows of the fault.
The Battery drains when door is left open within 10 min
Kind regards
Neale

welcome the asylum

how old is the battery , have u tested what the voltage is , standing and with the engine running

sounds like u need a new battery

Hi all thanks for the welcome sorry for late reply have been away and have no wifi.
yes battery all good have a meter on it and Have had it tested 14.1 with engine going and holds to
12.7 when locked .
have got one of though plug in to lighter socket volt meters
It only drains when a door is left open
Can do it even when keys are not in it but only when a or two doors open
It's like there is something not shutting down .
Any help would be great .

sounds like the battery is knackered, alternator looks as though it's working , but don't know how well it will hold its charge , when the battery goes flat have u recharged it over night or just jump started it

how old is ur battery, halfords do a free battery checks of its condition

need to do a residual test on the battery, seeing what the milliamps are before and after it goes to sleep , also as u open and close the door

i've done residual tests and found the issues on other land rovers but try posting over in the range rover section, different issues according to model
