I'm new to LPG,

My new ride RRC has a tidy LPG conversion.
Have been told road tax will be cheaper, and CC is free?!

Fortunately don't go down to that there London that often, but the way I'm reading it, I'd still pay the CC as I haven't registered for the 100% 'discount' before december 2010.

Out of interest, anyone use an LPG motor in London? What's your experience/knowledge on this?

You won't get out of paying the congestion charge, unless your vehicle is listed on the direct guv site and the conversion was done by one of the registered companies on there,(which means the company had to do a sertain amount of conversions on that type of car and supplied emissions data to the government and then paid a fee which I believe is silly amounts of mony) as for tax makes didly squat you still pay normal rate, only saving you get is the cost of LPG, government doesn't give a toss about what you run ya car on all they care about is how to tax the arse off us personally I don't even think their is a issue with climate change it's just an excuse to be able to to tax us more on every thing thieving bastids

If there was a real big problem why ain't they doing anything constuctive apart from taxing us.
