hello just brought my first defender td5 90 with lift kit.its noisy bouncy and like sitting in a puddle in this weather but its great to drive something that you feel like you are driving and not just a passenger sitting behind the steering wheel.anyone else noticed that when in there car they are the ones stopping to get out of others ways but in the landrover they suddenly disappear

fancyed a 4x4 for years but being sensible cars but all you can do to a fairly modern car is clean it and change oil. wanted something to work on but hate bodywork ,weld a chassis great fun repair rusting body hate it so defender unbolt fix bolt back together great

Glad I am not the only one! Bought my 2003 TD5 landy in August last year and totally hooked! Am building up a scrap book of jobs for 2013. A bit different after having a new modern mini! current issues are condensation on the inside of the roof and a general tidy up but so far have found loads of help on this forum.

i think condensation just doesnt cover it .wife has to swing her legs to the right after the first right hand bend with the water that comes down on her side
