I've got a 6cd changer under the driver's seat and a Harmon Kardon (Hk) amp under the passenger's seat.

The previous owner saw fit to replace the HK head with a unimpressive aftermarket head.

I want to put a head in that will use the cd changer but particularly use the controls on the steering column.

Its an '04 ES premium - is there a particular HK head for this?

Or could/should I be looking at another some other head?
(Will I still need the HK amp)?

Unless the wiring has been "modified" why not use a head unit similar to the item that your vehicle left the factory with... sorted

I like the idea - and - I think the wiring is intact (I can make good anyway)

But...You can't plug anything USBy into an HC head can you?

If I went the original HC way - are there any gotchas on the model?

The harmon sys is very good sat nav works well any other unit that you fit will not drive the steering controles
I got a spire unit just incase something wheat or goes wrong with mine
