Hello all, I recently purchased a 1976 series 3 for the purpose of a trip in Sep.
Me & 3 others will be leaving London bound for Luxembourg (Day 1) then Lux to Paris (day 2), I will then drive the landy back to London as I plan to keep the car post event.
I have already completed my first 200miles back from Somerset with little problem.
No doubt I will be peppering the boards with questions pre event to ensure it'll be ready for the trip.
I need to bolt in some seats in the back, sort out a leaky diff, replace the rear screen (its scratched Perspex) and generally make sure I am ready for eventualities
Work completed prior to me purchasing the car are:
New brakes + solenoids
New Shocks
New 1/2 chasis
New Lights / indicators (Disco alt + halogen)
2/3 gear syncro fixed
new floor, front & rear
I will get some pictures up later

I drove my series 330 miles home and regretted not having my proper ones with me
