(The others just wanted to give you good advice as to be honest, a mechanic should be able to find a filter in the fuel line from the tank towards the engine and see (recognise) a filter if there is one, and on condition it is not inserted into the tank's swirl pot as I'm afraid it's shown in diagram 1 ??)
