just joined. I own a defender csw 300tdi 1997. Had for 14 years and am an avid landy fan. Dad had them for years so I guess I inherited the bug.

Looking for tips and advice on how to keep my beasty on the road and to avoid costly repairs. Currently planning to replace rear crossmember as starting to show signs of corrosion. Anyone done this recently and what problems did you encounter?

Make sure you get the right type, not the 110 x member, far too long unless that area of your chassis is rotten then its just not worth it
