I replaced my Heater Matrix a few months back as it was leaking. Regrettably I purchased a Britpart replacement, since fitting my temperature never gets any hotter than tepid despite the fan functioning fully. Absolutely gutted!

Have you bleed the system?

I also made the same mistake but mine seems to be better than yours !

Are you sure that the temp lever is fully opening the flap on the heater box ?

Check the heat in the pipes into it. Is one getting almost too hot to touch? Then the engine is supplying the heat. If not you've got a blockage or air lock or your temperature tap is out of whack.

Can't quite see what the make of the matrix has to do with it, I used a BP replacement and it was fine. Is the engine reaching the correct operating temperature?

Assuming you sealed the matrix in correctly it is more likely that the cables / flaps aren't adjusted or there is an airlock (the latter is unlikely due to the amount of time that has passed).
