Can i put the same headlight bulbs from the new disco/range rovers (dont know what they are called, but they have that nice blue tint to them) in a 94 disco

no they arent directly compatible...new land rovers & lots of other cars have xenon or gas discharge bulbs or HIDS...you can convert but its EXPENSIVE..bulbs are like £80 each & you need a host of other wiring etc
You can get replacement xenon halogen bulbs which are 30% brighter than standard but your better off fitting 100/80's..

can you get the ones with that blue tint in 100/80's. saw the new range rover with them and they looked amazing down the snowy country lanes

Bollix! Not only are 100/80w bulbs illegal, the chances are they will melt yo wiring. Either go for xenon or EB 90%+ bulbs.

MHM-they are in no way illegal-who told you that? how do i get to sell them then!!
BLUE 100/80's are illegal

Bollix again! The cops will pull ya for 100/80's and as for a fuse blowing; have yu ever looked at disco headlight connectors? Most have melted with standard current going thru em, let alone the steering column stalks!

They aint illegal dude-theyre E marked for christs sake, only illegal if theyre blue

The Department Of Transportation has set guidelines for us to follow if we want to drive on public roads. Your low beam is not to exceed 55 watts and high beams are not to exceed 60 watts. Since the 70's, people have been installing higher wattage bulbs in their vehicles to get more light and just like in your favorite desk lamp, if you change from a 50-watt bulb to a 100-watt bulb you get almost twice the light. It is legal to run higher wattage “off road” and many people use this type of bulb on the street, but we do not recommend it. If you want to run these types of bulbs, they are much brighter, but there are some things to think about. These bulbs produce more light and subsequently more heat. We have never heard of these type of bulbs harming any headlight lenses because most lenses are a high strength polycarbonate that is very resistant to both heat and impact. But because of the current draw, almost doubling it sometimes can put a strain on your wiring. Frequently check the connectors on the back of the bulbs to see if they are overheating or appear to be melting. If this occurs you will need to buy a heavy-duty wiring harness to run these bulbs

To be honist diligaf. If yu want to risk being pulled, burn out your wiring and indicator stalk - go ahead!
