Hi guys.
Just bought myself a ex-military Series 3. It needs new door locks and new full canvas as the one on it looks tatty.
Door barrels come in two types it seems, slam door type and Anti-burst.
How would I find out what doors I've got?
Anyone know a good place for Khaki canvas's?

e-bay fur tilts - or sum place in summerset if yu wanna buy a new one.

as fur door locks - ask Paddocks - they cud, most likely, help ya.

Whats wrong with that tilt - looks fine to me.

The trouble with buying a new tilt is that it will then make the rest of your vehicle look tatty.

It just look scraggy from the side....s'ppose I could wash it then treat it lol

What about those door definitions. Whats the diff between a Anti-burst and slam?
Dont want to end up buying the wrong lock barrels

I think antiburst has something to do with doors coming open under stress and chassis flex when heavily loaded, think it was the militaary that had the prob to start with, though i'm sure someone else on here can say for def! not exactly sure how you'd tell them apart though sorry!

Suppose for £5 a barrel its cheap enough to take a shot in the dark. Can always ebay them off if they're wrong and I'll get my answer.
