Hi just fitted a new ashcroft lt77 gearbox and input gear, new clutch at the same time, there is now the tiniest knock on uptake of drive. It doesn't seem to be there when changing gear just when you take off. Drives fine, gear change is good, it's been a while since I drove with a new box is this about right ? Or is something else about to fall off

Will take a look at the uj's if it ever stops raining.... didn't notice any slack when I did the gearbox, but ill give em a check with a bar. Cant believe how bad the output splines were and it still drove, well till the minute it decided enough was enough. Decided to let go just as I was selling it to. Keeping it now though, I've just put another 700 quid in the slot on the roof

yeah, without the rubber bung at the bottom to stop it falling out!
