hya mate..

can you have a look at this pic?

Took my down pipe out and compared with the new one, seems ok and did a trial fit and looks likeits fine, just sits lower than the original as the distance to the first bend on the down pipe is longer.. was yours like this?

That looks like the one I needed and the one you need looks like the one I have spare! You can take the one I have and try it out for size if you like - I was going to stick it on Ebay for £25 anyway as it's a bit dirty now. You back in Andover next week at all?

does the one you have also end like this??
seems strange, my straight through pipe I bought doesnt fit it... but then again, i think its wrong (see my other thread)

how much you want for the downpipe?

hoo and btw, was easy to take it off on mine..the joys of having a suspension lift!

Mine has that rounded end on too - fits in a socket like cup on the centre box. What does the centre straight through pipe look like?

I was looking for £25 - I paid £33.50 for it when it was new and can't really take it back now it's got diesel dust all over it!

the centre pipe has open lips both ends..

but in the end I'm using my old downpipe, only had one little hole which I repaired with exhaust paste... so I won't be needing yours mate...
my downpipe fits perfectly on the straight through pipe, as the downpipe ends with a closed llip (male) and the straight pipe is open lip (female)...

So for now I've fitted that, today I'm going to get a olive type gasket so I can join the straight pipe with the rear pipe (both are open lip)...

Good work, glad you've got it all together!

As you saw, a bit of exhaust paste wouldn't have fixed my front pipe! haha

Can you buy those olive joints then? That's handy if you can.
