Hey, i just got my first land rover, and a need a little piece of advice, it may sound simple, but how do you lock the bloody thing?

Currently my fob isnt working (after changing the batteries), and when i lock with the key, the hazards start flashing. If it decides not to flash the hazards, in about 30s - 1min it will un lock, then lock itself again and start flashing the hazards.

The little red light flashes quickly in the dash.

its an m reg (95) discovery 300 tdi.

I found steps to re-code the keyfob, will try that tomorrow.

Also what is the correct sequence to get the headlight washers to work??

also have a bit of a winey turbo, gonne oil that up at some point, and use might make it quieter, anyone encountered this before?

Also any tips for some more power? I have cleaned the intercooler thoroughly, and plated off the EGR. Any more tips?

STEVES SITE this help just done my300tdi but left the turbo as the300s run at about 1 bar

Sorry can't help with the locking system, but as far as the headlight washers are concerned the washers only work on my 95 300Tdi when the lights are actually switched on. Hope that helps.

turned out, you just hold the key turned for 5 seconds and it all works.
