A friend just got nice and close to the new Defender while at GFOS today. He sent me these:

Nice.. so it’s not just a camo wrap is it, they’ve stuck fake panels on too. I guess to disguise the final shape as well as contours.

It was 1st up the hill today at Goodwood, looked and sounded mighty fine in the flesh - just like a reclothed Evoque 2.......

It has a very prominent front tow hook , do you think it is designed to get stuck on a regular basis with it's low down front bumper ;-) !

All Freelander's have had a similar shape bumper folding underneath like that. It's just carrying on the heritage.
